General description

This refill pack contains all the reagents for the MQuant^® test kits 1.18386 and 1.14413 for the colorimetric evaluation of aluminium. When the reagents of the MQuant^® test are used up, the kit can be replenished by ordering the appropriate refill pack. Refill packs are available for a range of MQuant^® test kits, making it a particularly economical system.MethodIn weakly acidic, acetate-buffered solution aluminium ions react with chromazurol S to form a blue compound. Due to the intrinsic orange coloration of the reagent blank, the measurement solution is orange-red to red in color. The aluminium concentration is measured semiquantitatively by visual colorimetric evaluation.The test can be used for ammonium determination in Groundwater and surface water, seawater Drinking water and mineral water Waters from aquaculture Boiler and boiler feed water, cooling water Process water Industrial water Wastewater and percolating water Electroplating wastewater Swimming-pool water
