The Optifit Extended Plus tips are designed to improve pipetting reach, making them ideal for use with deep and narrow labware. The tip design allows for more efficient retrieval of samples, down to the last drop. The longer length of these tips helps prevent contamination by ensuring that the pipette does not come into contact with the walls of labware or containers during use.
The tips are manufactured in an ISO 8 certified cleanroom environment. The tips are certified to be free of DNase, RNase, endotoxin and human DNA and are available as either pre-sterilized or not. The components, including the tips, trays, and racks, are made from polypropylene, which is fully recyclable. The racks and tips can be autoclaved (121°C for 20 minutes).
Sartorius pipettes and tips are designed to seamless fit together for the most reliable and reproducible results. The Extended Plus tips are compatible with all Sartorius pipettes: Picus® 2, Picus®, Picus® NxT, Tacta®, Mline®, Proline® Plus and Proline®.
