Potassium hydrogen tartrate [pH(S) = 3.63₉ / pH(S) = 3.55₇ (25 °C)] is a certified secondary standard reference buffer used as a calibration buffer standard for pH instruments or pH electrodes.

The pH value of this Certipur^® buffer solution is measured using differential potentiometry with two platinum hydrogen electrodes against NIST & PTB primary SRMs [pH(S) = 3.63₉ / pH(S) = 3.55₇ (25 °C)]. It is a Certified Reference Material (CRM) offered in neat format. Intended for extremely precise calibration, qualification and monitoring of pH instruments and for testing other buffer solutions.
