Membrane Lactose Glucuronide Agar (MGLA) is a selective, chromogenic medium for the differentiation of Escherichia coli and other coliforms in water. Organism specific culture media for use in the water and environmental testing sector. The medium contains X-glucuronide chromogen which facilitates the presumptive detection of Escherichia coli by the presence of green coloured colonies.
