Rappaport-Vassiliadis Soya Peptone Broth (RVS) is a selective enrichment medium designed to recover Salmonella species as described in ISO 11133 and ISO 6579 and also known as Rappaport-Vassiliadis medium with soya (RVS broth). The formulation is different to other RVS formulations in order to further optimise selectivity of Salmonella spp.
