Metal detectable spoons are made from food grade polypropylene (PP). A special food grade filler is mixed with the PP and this makes the final product both metal detectable and visible by X-rays. They have a robust design and this means they can be used repeatedly however for demanding applications they may be used as a single-use spoon. All products in the metal detectable range are moulded and packed in a cleanroom. This ensures the cleanliness of the product.
