UCM710 is a dual inhibitor of fatty acid amide hydrolase (FAAH) and A/β hydrolase domain 6 (ABHD6) the enzymes that hydrolyze endocannabinoids. UCM710 augments both N-arachidonoylethanolamine (AEA) and 2-arachidonoylglycerol (2-AG) levels in neurons. UCM710 does not inhibit monoacylglycerol lipase (MAGL).
