Manufactured to meet OIML E1 weight specifications. OIML Class E1 is used as a primary reference for calibrating other reference standards and weights where the stability of the environment and careful handling are assured. Class E1 weights have no method of adjustment and are not suitable for general laboratory use. The uncertainty is guaranteed to be 1/3 the tolerance.
- Weights 1g and above are two-piece construction, weights 500mg and below are one-piece
- Weights 1g and above have a tapered neck allowing easy handling, polished mirror-like finish allowing scratches or foreign matter to be seen, and bottom of weights are recessed to reduce wear, mg weights are flat with one end turned up for easy handling
- Weight sets 500g and below include a polycarbonate case, weight sets where the largest weight is 1kg and above are supplied in a tough, lightweight, rugged case, designed to protect your weight set
