Zeta-chain-associated protein kinase 70 (ZAP70) plays an important role in T cell receptor (TCR) signaling. It acts as an adaptor protein to increase BCR (B-cell receptor) signaling. This protein is required for T-cell transendothelial migration mediated by C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 12.

General description
Zeta-chain-associated protein kinase 70 (ZAP70) is a tyrosine kinase, present in T cells and natural killer (NK) cells. It belongs to the spleen tyrosine kinase (Syk) family. This gene is mapped to human chromosome 2q11.
