Biochem/physiol Actions
WD repeat domain 74 (WDR74) along with the nucleolar AAA-ATPase NVL2, plays a vital role in an early cleavage of the pre-rRNA processing pathway. It is also implicated in various biological processes, including cell cycle control and apoptosis. In mouse, this protein plays an essential role in RNA transcription, processing and/or stability during preimplantation development.

General description
WD repeat domain 74 (WDR74), also known as NOP seven-associated protein 1 (NSA1), is encoded by the gene mapped to human chromosome 11q12.3. The encoded protein is mainly localized in the nucleus and it contains six WD40 repeats.
Immunogen
NSA1 antibody was raised against an 18 amino acid peptide near the carboxy terminus of human NSA1.
Linkage
The action of this antibody can be blocked using blocking peptide SBP3500152.
Physical form
Supplied in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide.
