The LunaX™ Linker is a user-friendly, bench-top photopolymerization device designed for crosslinking Gelomics’ tunable extracellular matrices under cytocompatible conditions. Emitting narrow-spectrum blue light (405nm), the LunaX™ Linker activates visible light-sensitive photoinitiators without inducing cellular stress or DNA damage typically associated with UV-based systems.
Optimised for 3D spheroid formation and co-culture applications, the system allows precise control over ECM stiffness by adjusting exposure time, supporting the modeling of diverse tissue types and disease states. Its compact format and intuitive interface make it suitable for routine use in both low- and high-throughput in vitro workflows.
The LunaX™ Linker facilitates reproducible gelation within minutes, enabling researchers to efficiently generate physiologically relevant 3D models for drug screening, tumor microenvironment studies, and regenerative medicine applications.
