This month’s Spotlight on Sustainability is the Timeswitch Electronic Digital Outlet Timer, a compact and multifunctional 24-hour, 7-day timer with a UK plug.
Offering up to 20 programmable on/off switching schedules, a 24-hour countdown facility and flexible programming across individual or combinations of days, it provides a simple and affordable way to manage when electrical equipment is in use.
Suitable for a range of electrical loads, including resistive loads up to 13A (3kW), inductive loads up to 2A and filament lamps up to 400W, the timer helps prevent connected equipment from being left on unnecessarily.
By giving users greater control over when electrical equipment is operating, it can help reduce energy consumption, lower energy expenditure and minimise environmental impact.
