This month, the Spotlight on Sustainability falls on the PYREX Baffled Delong Neck Culture Flask. Featuring four equidistant baffle indents, these flasks promote turbulent flow in the growth media, enhancing oxygen transfer to cells — an essential factor for suspension culture success.
Constructed from durable Pyrex® borosilicate glass, they offer excellent chemical and thermal resistance, and are suitable for repeated autoclave cycles at 121°C. The baffles ensure consistent agitation when paired with compatible orbital shakers, making them ideal for aerobic microbiology and cell culture applications.
This product is available in a variety of sizes including 250ml, 500ml, 1 litre , and 2 litres.
