For the determination of nitrite reducing bacteria. With this tube test you can measure anaeorobic bacteria and display the microbiologically caused corrosion. The agar consists of a semi-solid medium for the analysis of anaerobic microorganisms capable of nitrite ammonification.
- Testparameter: Nitrite-degrading bacteria
- Addition of the sample with a pipette or swab
- Pale orange medium reacts to bacterial metabolism
- Semiquantitative results after 5 days
- Determination of contamination based on the colour change in the agar to red & bubble formation or black colouring around the swab
