This assembly uses the same flasks for distillation as for the digestion stage and conversion from one stage to the other can be done very quickly.
- A splash head for use in distillation assemblies in which the condenser is assembled in the vertical mode
- Lower cone accepts flask, upper cone accepts condenser
- Splash head reduces entrainment of raw liquid into the vapour stream
