Remel Agglutinating Sera are used for serological identification of N. meningitidis by rapid slide agglutination and CIE procedures. Intended for use in qualitative slide agglutination tests to aid in the serologial identification of Neisseria meningitidis groups A, B, C, D, X, Y, Z and W135 isolates grown on agar. Used in a diagnostic workflow to aid clinicians in treatment options for patients suspected of having bacterial infections. The device is not automated, is for professional use only and is not a companion diagnostic.
