Mupid® One Electrophoresis System: one of the most convenient DNA separation systems on the market. It has many novel features including a separated power supply, a simple buffer drainage system, support for multi-channel pipettes, and seven output voltage settings as well as a timer function for delivering the perfect run every time. The Mupid® One comes with the gel casting set standard. This casting set includes 4 combs, which can be used from both sides (13 wells and 26 wells). Furthermore, this set comes with different gel trays: two gel trays small for the preparation of mini gels and one gel tray large for larger gels.

Mupid One LED Illuminator: allows the visualisation and detection of DNA fragments during the run. The illuminator substitutes the Mupid® lid and includes an orange coloured filter to allow you easily check the results without wearing goggles. The orange coloured filter protects you, so you can check the results without wearing goggles. The LED source inside the instrument produces light with a narrow emission peak at approximately 470nm, effective for the excitation of nucleic acid stains such as Midori Green (Direct/Advance) and SYBR dyes. The viewing area is coated in order to avoid the formation of moisture. The separated DNA is not damaged by the light emitted by LEDs, because it contains no short-wave UV light. Sensitivity is at 2ng DNA.

MIDORI^Green Xtra DNA/RNA Stain 1mL: a highly sensitive green fluorescent stain for a safe visualisation of DNA and RNA in agarose gels. This DNA stain is a safe and better alternative to the traditional nucleic acid stain ethidium bromide (EtBr). Remarkably, agarose gels stained with MIDORI^Green Xtra have a very low background fluorescence, which makes the identification of low amounts of DNA very easy. Be one of the first and test MIDORI^Green Xtra for a safe detection of DNA with an unbeatable sensitivity. MIDORI^Green Xtra is optimised for blue/green and blue LED light, leading to unbeatable fluorescence signals of DNA and RNA in agarose gels. In addition, UV light is also suitable for the detection of nucleic acid, but less efficient than non-damaging visible light. Remarkably, MIDORIGreen Xtra did not stain the agarose gel, leading to an excellent signal to noise ratio. MIDORI^Green Xtra delivers even better DNA/RNA signals than ethidium bromide. However, this innovative DNA stain is non-carcinogenic, non-mutagenic and non-toxic and therefore not harmful for your health. Independent laboratories confirmed its safety: both the mutagenicity test (ames test) and the cytotoxicity test were negative.
