Application
Anti-DGKI, C-Terminal antibody produced in rabbit is suitable for indirect immunofluorescence and western blot.
Biochem/physiol Actions
DGKI (Diacylglycerol kinase iota) is mainly involved in the maintenance of intracellular concentration of diacylglycerol by phosphorylating other lipids in addition to DAG. DGKI has been predicted to be a potential gene for tumor suppression in colorectal cancers and mutation in DGKI has been linked to the melanoma.

General description
DGKI (Diacylglycerol kinase iota) is a small, integral membrane protein belonging to the type IV diacylglycerol kinase subfamily. It is mapped on chromosome 7q32.3-q33. The members of the DGK family consist of a catalytic domain and at least two cysteine-rich regions. In type IV family members, it has four ankyrin repeats and a carboxy terminal PDZ binding domain.
Anti-DGKI Antibody detects endogenous levels of total DGKI protein.
Immunogen
The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human DGKI.Immunogen Range: 991-1040
Physical form
Rabbit IgG in phosphate buffered saline (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.
