General description

Keratin 17/cytokeratin 17 (CK17) is a basal/myoepithelial cell keratin. It is expressed in the respiratory tract, urinary tract and various glands. CK17 is a member of the acidic type I CK family. It is mapped to human chromosome 17q21.

Anti-Keratin 17 antibody detects endogenous levels of total Keratin 17 protein.

The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human Keratin 17.Immunogen Range: 381-430
