Application

Anti-ESR1 antibody produced in chicken is suitable for western blotting analysis at a dilution of 1:500, for tissue or cell staining at a dilution of 1:200.

Biochem/physiol Actions

ERα is encoded by the ESR1 (estrogen receptor 1) gene in humans and is mapped to chmosome 6q25.1. It may play an important role in the development and progression of cerebral infarction. ESR1 genetic polymorphisms may contribute to the development of cerebral infarction. Methylation of ESR1 influences ovarian cancer development and may play a role regarding prognosis of ovarian carcinoma. It may be associated with tumorigenesis of breast cancer.
