Application
Anti-Annexin VII antibody, Mouse monoclonal has been used in:western blotting immunocytochemistryimmunohistochemistry
Biochem/physiol Actions
Antibodies reacting specifically with Annexin VII serve as an essential tool for the detection of this molecule in various cells. The human annexin VII (ANXA7) possesses a tumor suppressor role in prostate cancer. Hence it can be used an important biomarker along with syndecan-1 to predict the survival rates in prostate cancer patients.

General description
Anti-Annexin VII antibody, Mouse monoclonal (mouse IgG1 isotype) is derived from the 203-217/6 hybridoma produced by the fusion of mouse myeloma cells and splenocytes from BALB/c mice immunized with a recombinant mouse Annexin VII. The human annexin VII (ANXA7) is located on chromosome 10q21.
Annexin VII (synexin) is a membrane binding protein that localizes in the nucleus and cytosol. In humans and mice, Annexin VII is encoded by a single gene that has alternatively spliced cassette exons. As a result, two isoforms of molecular mass of 47kDa and 51kDa are expressed. These isoforms differ in their N-terminal region and also have distinct tissue-specific expression patterns.
Immunogen
