General description

A very potent and selective δ opioid receptor agonist (IC₅₀ = 0.32 µM). Shown to induce dose- and time-dependent antinociception after i.c.v., i.th. and i.p. administration in mice. Widely used in studies of depression and inflammatory injuries. It is also reported to be acted upon heteromeric u-d receptors.
