BRAND^® Transferpettor positive displacement pipette, digital volume is suitable for pipetting difficult media such as: Media that tends to foam like tenside solutions. Media with high vapor pressure (up to 500 mbar) such as ether, alcohol, and hydrocarbons. Highly viscous (up to 140,000mm²/s) media like oils, proteins, fats, and resins. High density (up to 13.6g/cm³) media such as mercury, sulfuric acid, and glycerine.

BRAND^® Transferpettor positive displacement pipette, digital volume provides the following benefits: The positive displacement principle enables the piston to be in direct contact with the aspirated liquid. The tightly fit piston keeps the walls of the tips clean always to provide reliable results. As residual wetting is negligible, after each pipetting session there is no need to dispose of the tips. The working temperature range includes 15°C to 40°C.

General description

The Transferpettor comes in when air-interface pipettes reach their limits. This positive displacment system is ideal for pipetting of high viscous or foaming media, or media with high density or vapor pressure.
