Corning® 96 Well Half-Area Microplate has a 60% thinner bottom than conventional polystyrene plates and aid in lower background fluorescence. Opaque black polystyrene walls. Minimal well-to-well crosstalk during fluorescent assays. Ideal for reducing protein and nucleic acid binding at low concentrations. Applicable for both top and bottom reading instruments. Recommended working volume of 25 to 125 µL. Conforms to standard microplate footprint and dimensions. Visual clarity for optical density or bottom read fluorescent/luminescent measurements.
