General description

This certified reference material (CRM) is produced and certified in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 17034. This CRM is traceable to primary material from an NIST.Certified content incl. uncertainty and expiry date are given on the certificate.Download your certificate at: http://www.sigma-aldrich.comHigh-precision argentometric titration was used for the determination of the bromide content in a Lithium bromide stock solution. The certified value of the Lithium content (mg/kg) is determined using high-performance inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (HP-ICP-OES). All measurements are traced gravimetrically to an internationally accepted reference material from NIST (USA). The values obtained from titration and HP-ICP-OES were checked for agreement. The values must agree with each other in the range of their uncertainty.
