W146 has been used:to verify the mode of action of sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P) in human bone marrow derived mesenchymal stem cells (hMSCs ) and primary human hepatogenic profibrotic cells (hHPCs) to study oxidative stress and drug treatment in granulosa cells to evaluate its effects on transendothelial electrical resistance (TEER)

W146 acts as an orthosteric antagonist. It is linked to blood lymphopenia and lung edema in mice.

General description

W146 is a sphingosine-1-phosphate 1 (S1P1) selective antagonist.

Compound 2a is a selective antagonist for human S1P1 (hS1P1) receptor activation by the physiological agonist S1P.
