This product is used with the extruder to provide extra support and improved flow rate. Filter support provides a flat surface to eliminate tearing or rupturing of the polycarbonate membrane. It is also used as a separator between membrane layers in serial stack filtration applications. The polyester filter support is binder free and has a thickness of 100 µm. The filter support disc is chemically inert.
