Activin C is a member of the transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-β) superfamily, a group of proteins that play key roles in regulating cell growth, survival and differentiation. Activin C activates SMAD2/3 signaling and is highly expressed in liver, testis and prostate. Qkine recombinant activin C is the only commercially available animal origin-free activin C protein. Recombinant activin C is a bioactive 25kDa homodimer, tag free and carrier free for improved reproducibility.
