Application
Anti-VEGFR-2 antibody produced in chicken is suitable for immunohistochemistry and western blotting analysis at a dilution of 1:500, for tissue or cell staining at a dilution of 1:200.
Biochem/physiol Actions
Kinase insert domain receptor (KDR, a type III receptor tyrosine kinase, VEGFR-2) is a VEGF receptor and is encoded by KDR gene in humans. It plays a crutial role in controlling endothelial trafficking activity and is involved in phosphotyrosine phosphatase 1b (PTP1b). PTP1b acts as a key regulator of endothelial VEGFR2 signaling and plays a critical role in regulation of the extent of vascular tree formation. VEGFR2 may be associated with gout and hyperuricaemia risks in Malays.
