Anti-RIPK1 antibody produced in rabbit has been used in:western blottingimmunocytochemistryimmunofluorescence
Biochem/physiol Actions
Receptor interacting serine/threonine kinase 1 (RIPK1) is involved in inflammatory signaling and prosurvival. It is also involved in regulating the caspase-8-mediatedapoptosis. RIPK1 plays a role in activating nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B cells(NF-κB)andmitogen-activated protein (MAP) kinases. Mutations in this gene is associated with impaired innate and adaptive immunity. It also leads to very early onset inflammatory bowel diseases (VEO-IBDs).
Receptor interacting serine/threonine kinase 1 (RIPK1) modulates cell survival and death. It also has a role in inflammation.

General description
Receptor interacting serine/threonine kinase 1 (RIPK1) gene is located at 6p25.2 on the human chromosome. It belongs to the RIPK family. RIPK1 is a necroptosis regulatory protein. It is made up of N-terminal kinase domain, a RIP homotypic interaction motif and its C-terminal contains the death domain.
Immunogen
RIPK1 antibody was raised against a 15 amino acid peptide from near the amino terminus of human RIPK1.
Linkage
The action of this antibody can be blocked using blocking peptide SBP3500420.
Physical form
Supplied in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide.
