General description

Human Umbilical Artery Endothelial Cells (HUAEC) establish a solid platform for drug discovery, and studies related to tissue regeneration and atherosclerosis. Endothelial cells play critical roles in vascular homeostasis and vessel wall tone. In addition, they participate in platelet aggregation and coagulation. HUAEC also influence lymphocyte activation and chmoattractant activity.

Preparation Note

2nd passage, >500,000 cells in Basal Medium containing 10% FBS & 10% DMSO Can be cultured at least 15 doublings
