Remel Agglutinating Sera are used for serological identification of H. influenzae by rapid slide agglutination test and CIE procedures. Intended for use in qualitative slide agglutination tests to aid in the serologial identification of capsular type antigen of pathogenic isolates of H. influenzae (types A to F) grown on agar. Used in a diagnostic workflow to aid clinicians in treatment options for patients suspected of having bacterial infections. The device is not automated, is for professional use only and is not a companion diagnostic.
