Application

Bathophenanthroline was used in an ultra-sensitive and selective nonextractive quenchofluorimetric method, in order to determine palladium (II) at µg/l Levels. It may also be used as the buffer layer to improve the performance of organic photovoltaic cells.

General description

Bathophenanthroline (BPhen) is a chelating agent and is specific for ferrous ions.
