Normal PBMC are collected from healthy donors, washed extensively, and frozen on the same day as collection for optimal freshness and viability. Normal donors are tested negative for blood-borne pathogens and do not have any autoimmune or other diseases. PBMCs are purified by a density gradient centrifugation and are available in fresh or cryopreserved format.
