Application
Monoclonal anti-glutamic acid decarboxylase 67 (GAD67) antibody produced in mouse has been used in:immunohistofluorescencewestern blotting immunohistochemistry.
Monoclonal Anti-Glutamic Acid Decarboxylase 67 (GAD67) antibody is suitable for use in immunoblot, western blot (at 1:500-1:20,000 dilutions using mouse brain extract) and immunohistochemistry (at 1:500-1:20,000 dilutions in mouse brain sections).
Biochem/physiol Actions
Glutamic Acid Decarboxylase 67 (GAD67) is involved in the production of γ-amino butyric acid (GABA), a inhibitory neurotransmitter in the central nervous system (CNS). Deficiency of GAD67 leads to psychosis, schizophrenia and bipolar diseases.
