Corning^® 96 Well Half-Area Microplate has half the growth area of a standard 96 well plate. Flat bottoms with 190 µL total volume. White walled plates enhance luminescent signals and have low background luminescence and fluorescence. Bottoms are 60% thinner than conventional polystyrene plates. Opaque walls to prevent well-to-well crosstalk. Optically clear flat well bottom permits direct microscopic viewing Can be used for both top and bottom reading instruments. Sterilized by gamma radiation and nonpyrogenic. Hydrophilic surface and negatively charged, optimized for cell attachment and growth.
