Naphthol AS-BI phosphate is suitable to use: in tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase (TRAP) staining to detect osteoclast activity as a component in Tris-HCl in staining cells to measure alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activity to perform alkaline phosphatase reaction

Biochem/physiol Actions

Naphthol AS-BI can be used as a substrate to determine alkaline and acid phosphatase. It is also used to determine the activity of acid phosphatase in single cells.
