General description

Toluene is a non-polar organic solvent and methyl derivative of benzene. As per USP and EP, it belongs to the Class 2 category of organic solvents and has limited application in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals, due to its moderate toxicity.Pharmaceutical secondary standards for application in quality control, provide pharma laboratories and manufacturers with a convenient and cost-effective alternative to the preparation of in-house working standards.
