In recent years, interest in homebrewing has increased exponentially. During the brewing of beer, the pH must be maintained between 5.0 and 5.4. pHs outside of this range will cause the enzymes involved in the brewing process to be less active. This will reduce the overall efficiency of the brewing process and could affect the overall flavour of the final product.
