Neogen Petrifilm Salmonella Express Confirmation Disk

Neogen® Petrifilm® Salmonella Express (SALX) System is used for the rapid qualitative detection and biochemical confirmation of Salmonella species in enriched food and food process environmental samples. The Petrifilm® SALX Confirmation Disk contains a biochemical substrate that facilitates the biochemical confirmation of Salmonella organisms.

• Petrifilm® SALX System consists of the Salmonella Enrichment Base (FSA0026), the Salmonella Enrichment Supplement (FSA0026), the Petrifilm® Salmonella Express (SALX) Plate (FSA0024), and the Petrifilm® Salmonella Express (SALX) Confirmation Disk (FSA0020 & FSA0022), which are all sold separately
• Petrifilm® SALX Plate can be used with or without the Petrifilm® SALX Confirmation Disk, the Petrifilm® SALX Confirmation Disk may be used only in conjunction with the Neogen® Petrifilm® SALX Plate
• Confirmation disk easily added to plate for biochemical confirmation
• Results in 4 to 5 hours
• Colour card that is used to help match the color of the isolated colonies on the plate to a presumptive positive Salmonella colony color or non-Salmonella colony colour
