The Classic series gives great value for money. All three main connector types are available so no matter what make of meter you are using there should be a suitable Classic electrode. The plastic bodied electrode is the first choice for general use due to its durability; it is strong enough to be used to stir in the flask or beaker and can safely be used with a magnetic stirrer. This electrode can be used for pressurised applications where it will withstand up to 1.5 bar/ 21.75psi and operating temperature between 0°C and +80°C.
The glass bodied electrode is appropriate to more specialised applications such as organic solvents. It features a ceramic junction with a particularly low leak rate and a wide operating temperature range of -5°C to +100°C.
