General description
GATAD2A (GATA zinc finger domain containing 2A), a 68kDa protein, is a component of multi-subunit protein Mi-2/NuRD (Nucleosome Remodeling Deacetylase) complex. The Mi-2/NuRD complex is essential for the ATP-dependent chromatin remodeling and histone deacetylase activities. It also performs in the methylation dependent transcriptional repression by guiding repressors to the chromatin. The gene encoding GATAD2A is localized on human chromosome 19p13.11. GATAD2A interacts with the histone tail in vitro and acetylates histone tails.
Immunogen
GATAD2A (NP_060130, 26 a.a. ~ 134 a.a) partial recombinant protein with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26 KDa.SequenceQIQKEATAQKPTGSVGSTVTTPPPLVRGTQNIPAGKPSLQTSSARMPGSVIPPPLVRGGQQASSKLGPQASSQVVMPPLVRGAQQIHSIRQHSSTGPPPLLLAPRASVP
