Unit Definition

One unit will convert 1.0 µmole of γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) to succinic semialdehyde and then to succinate per min with a stoichiometric reduction of 1.0 µmole of NADP⁺ at pH 8.6 at 25 °C.
